Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative role is one in which the sales contributor is primarily responsible for achieving meeting goals set forth internally by management and externally by their assigned clients, in the territory or industries assigned, and to develop new business for those clients.

At Mansfield Sales Partners, the Inside Sales Representative is expected to operate independently to acquire leads, develop those leads into prospects, initiate and conduct a high volume of sales calls per day, and schedule qualified in-person and phone/ web base meetings for the assigned clients. The Inside Sales Representative will also be asked to complete required reports, forecast sales, track sales activities in Salesforce.com or other SFA/CRM, and provide consistent feedback to management on his/her performance and market trends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue quotas assigned
  • Initiates and completes outbound presentations for a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day.
  • Meets new business development goals through heavy outbound calling and preparing and delivering effective product presentations/offers to influencers and decision makers by emphasizing the additional value/benefits the products/ services will bring.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up on leads and prospects
  • Services active accounts
  • Provide basic customer service
  • Maintain Company CRM database by inputting meaningful conversations, tracking follow-up actions, and updating account details, task lists, and calling activities
  • Complete and present weekly activity reports
  • Participate in weekly client meetings to review objectives, opportunities, and forecast items

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in an outbound lead generation or sales team
  • Proven track record in acquiring leads and assisting sales team members
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and complete 80-90 outbound calls per day
  • Ability to grasp multiple offerings from different clients and multi-task among them
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective sales skills and the ability to consistently apply those skills in order to achieve quotas and goals
